Cefin - Social Corporate Responsibility - From theory... to people

Bucuresti - 27 March 2008 - CEFIN Holding has publicly announced today, March 27th, an ambitious CSR program of the company for the year 2008.
In line with its constant concerns in the last few years for getting involved in the field of social responsibility, CEFIN Holding has decided to allocate 200,000 Euro to the company’s CSR plan for 2008.
Five NGO’s have been selected for the company’s social involvement program: Protected Workshops, COASIT, United Way Romania, Overland for Smile and Light Into Europe Charity. In a partnership with these NGO’s, Cefin Holding wants to generate projects which are not only visible, but also have a high impact on the target communities.
The moment has also highlighted the announcement of the new CSR strategy of CEFIN Holding. A strategy in which charity and community support programs shall be correlated with the rest of the corporate activities. Volunteering, by „donating personal time” of the managerial team and of the company staff, is also to play a much more significant role in the company’s new CSR strategy.
CEFIN is a multinational company set up in 1995, its line of business being the provision of integrated services in the automotive, production and real estate fields. According to the concept that a company’s success must also reflect on the civil society amidst which it operates, Cefin is contributing to improving the life quality in the geographic areas in which it is active, by getting actively involved in social, health and cultural values promotion programs, for which it is allocating over 200,000 Euro anually.
